is a brand new 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom flat on two floors in an Alpine
chalet with stunning, uninterrupted views over Verbier onto the Combins
Massif and the Ruinettes ski area of Verbier.
LOCATION
Newmoon
is 75m from Savoleyres lift station and on the arterial bus route between
the village centre and Carrefour at the top of the resort. Access to
the slopes can be achieved by a 2 minute walk to the Savoleyres lift,
or by a 2 minute bus ride (the bus-stop is 50m from the chalet’s
front door) to Carrefour and then straight onto the slopes below Ruinettes.
For beginners, the nursery slopes of Les Esserts are a 5-minute walk
or a short bus ride from Savoleyres to Le Hameau.
Shops
and restaurants are all within easy reach at Le Hameau and the town
centre is a 15-minute walk, a bus ride or a short drive away. At the
end of a day’s skiing it is possible to ski to within 5 minutes’
walk of the flat at Le Hameau.
APARTMENT
DESCRIPTION
Built
in 2005, Newmoon is a large (150 sq m) flat in a private chalet containing
only 5 apartments. The 3 bedrooms are on the ground floor, two of which
open onto the garden terrace through French windows.

View from living room
Decorated in wood and rustic plaster, with rugs on the floors and individually
controlled heating, they can all be configured to your liking, as double
or twin bedrooms. The third bedroom is the largest and is at the rear
of the apartment.

All
rooms are en-suite, with one bathroom and two shower-rooms, decorated
with rustic marble tiles and powerful showers. There is plenty of storage
with built-in wardrobes in all rooms.
Bedding
can be your choice of duvets or sheets and blankets. There is also a
washing machine and dryer in the apartment.
The
communal areas have underfloor heating, regulated by thermostat ensuring
you come home to a warm reception. Stone floors and rugs throughout
add to the alpine experience, with subtle wood walls and furniture and
wall lighting in the sitting room.
One
of the three bathrooms
A large flat screen television, connected to the cable network, mean
you can keep abreast of current affairs or sporting events. A DVD player
and DVD collection are also available, should a quiet moment be necessary,
and there is broadband internet access throughout. An entry hall and
upstairs loo make entertaining easy.
If
you choose to self-cater the kitchen is brand new and fully fitted with
all modern conveniences: 4 ceramic hobs; convection oven; micro-wave/
conventional oven combination; marble work surfaces; double sink; dishwasher;
tall fridge freezer and breakfast bar.
Kitchen
The
views are superb, and as good as anywhere in the village, uninterrupted
across the valley. To maximise them, there is a large balcony from the
sitting room, with enough room to seat a dinner party in the summer
and a large garden with terrace, accessible from the balcony or bedrooms.
Pets
are permitted, as long as this is mentioned at the time of booking and
owners take full responsibility for them and accept liability for any
damage they may cause.
If
you self-drive there is parking for two cars in the underground car
park, with lift access straight into the chalet.
